Wedding stories are shaped by those who are gifted the task of telling them. We are honored to capture your wedding story through photographs, but did you know our team does videography too?
Wedding videography isn’t easy, and much like the time and education needed to become an accomplished photographer, quality wedding video requires a team dedicated to learning the craft. Our team uses production quality gear to ensure that your wedding story is multifaceted. For example, we utilize the use of drones to provide an aerial view of your wedding day. To create a story that is multidimensional, we incorporate both ground and area views, using movie-production quality stabilization gear, to create a wedding film that smoothly transitions throughout the retelling of your day.
When you are hiring a videographer, make sure that they are properly licensed to operate a drone in your area. Most venues will require certifications as drones that are improperly used can be dangerous to your guests! Adequate experience is a must as creating a story that uses both aerial and ground views takes talent and vision for merging the two into a seamlesses product.
Benefits of Hiring a Photo-video Team
Our studio chose to develop a photo-video team, after years of experience in the field in wedding photography. We realized the importance of having both members of your documentary team on the same page and knew that we could best create this by partnering with others that were skilled in their field. It is important at your team work well together – the pace of a wedding day is fast, and you must be able to react quickly without out getting into one another’s shots. Being able to work well together also means that you save time on your wedding day – moments are captured simultaneously without having to recreate poses to make sure each artist is able to document it. There are better ways to spend extra time on your wedding day- like tearing it up out on the dance floor
Another benefit of hiring a team that works together often is their ability to create a wedding timeline that will not only tell your story well, but ensure that your day is less stressful. Working together we will visit the venue to plan out the best locations for photos and video so that you aren’t being pulled all over the property during your portrait hour. This allows us to create quality imagery while being mindful of getting you back to your reception on time!
